David Fannon

Living and farming in the RM of Star City for over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside my wife’s parents and our neighbours. In addition to farming, I’ve operated a custom spraying business and owned & run an Ag processing facility. Growing up in a military family in the United States, I moved frequently, learning how to handle the challenges of change and the excitement that comes with new opportunities. Saskatchewan has become home for me, and I’ve come to appreciate its unique beauty.

 Alongside farming, I’ve been serving my community with Melfort Fire and EMS with my combined experience of 14+ years, a role I am passionate about. Balancing this with family life is important to me—I’m a proud father of two daughters, and being part of their lives while giving back to the community is something I deeply value.

 My love for photography has grown from the rural life here, where I often capture the endless skies, peaceful fields, and hidden gems like old homesteads. Each one tells a story, much like the people and places I come across in my work.
